Reporting a wrong result

If a calculator's given you an answer you don't think is right, send us the exact times or numbers you typed and the result you expected. That's the fastest way for us to reproduce it. We read every message, and if it's a real error we'll fix it and say so on the page.

What we can't help with

We can't give legal or tax advice about your own situation, and we can't tell you whether your employer's paying you correctly. What we do is show every calculation step by step and cite the rule or method it uses, with a link to the official source. If you find a mistake, we'll fix it. For anything beyond that, you'll want your state's labor department or a lawyer.

We usually reply within a few working days. Don't send passwords, bank details or anything you wouldn't want stored in an email inbox; we'll never ask for them.

Ideas are welcome, too. If there's a working-time calculator you've looked for and couldn't find, tell us what it'd need to do. We can't build everything, but we'd like to hear it.
